the MURS Wireless Switch Control is ideal for any ideal for any
application where a contact closure is needed to remotely control a
light, turn on/off a pump, activate a siren...the possibilities are
infinite. It can be used in application such as electric/gas utilities,
petroleum, chemical, water/waste treatment plants, environmental
monitoring, food/agriculture operations, as well as general
manufacturing and industrial processes. Utilizing a radio frequency
transceiver and two programmable DTMF decoders housed in a durable,
weather-resistant enclosure, the MURS Wireless Switch Control's
independently controlled relays can provide a contact closure output
upon receiving a uniquely defined DTMF (Touch Tone) code.
This product is the perfect companion to the MURS Voice Notification
Wireless Monitor (VNWM). By using DTMF to program your custom message
into the VNWM, the MURS Wireless Switch Control responds by decoding the
DTMF sequence and delivering a contact closure.
As an example application, the VNWM could be used to monitor the fuel
level in a fuel tank. When a sensor in the tank activates the VNWM, it
transmits DTMF to the MURS Wireless Switch Control miles away. The MURS
Wireless Switch Control then delivers a contact closure to an autodialer
that calls personnel in a remote command center alerting them that the
tank needs refilling. |
