Panasonic VL-GM301A Video Door Intercom System

Our Price: $549.97

Description

Not only does this Panasonic GM301A system combine video and intercom functions to let you see and speak with visitors before opening the door, it also handles up to 3 Monitors and 2 Cameras so you can monitor your front and back door from several locations in your home or business.

Visitors contact you by pressing the doorbell button on the door phone camera. You just press the monitor button to view and hear the images and sound at the camera. Indoor sounds won't be heard outside, but you can press the talk button to speak to your guests.

When you're holding something you can't put down right away, the Hands Free function lets you answer without having to press a button. Just use the switch on the monitor station unit to select any one of the response methods below:

  • Touch and talk. Just touch the button once and begin talking. Useful when it's noisy inside.
  • Press and Talk. Hold the Talk button down and talk. Useful when it's noisy around the outside unit.

It's easy to see who's at the door, thanks to a color LCD with automatic brightness compensation and adjustable contrast. In dim evening light the image displayed is brighter than the actual light level. At night an infrared LED in the camera unit lets you see your visitor's face from approximately 19 inches (50 cm) away using a black and white image.

To view and hear from the monitor, simply press the monitor button. Indoor sounds cannot be heard from outdoors. This function lets you monitor the door station for up to one minute at a time.

If you have a Panasonic PBX system in your home or business, you can connect this door phone to it and answer door calls from any connected telephone. The Video Door Intercom Monitor is compatible with the 8 x 24 Phone System, 8 x 16 Phone System and 8 x 48 Phone System, among others.

The Video Door Intercom Main Monitor can be surface mounted to your wall. If desired, you can also mount it flush with your wall using the Recessed Mounting Kit (sold separately).

The GM301A includes a one year manufacturer's warranty.

The GM301A does not include a door camera. You will be required to purchase one of the cameras below.

If you have no plans to expand this unit the VL-M201A Video Door Intercom Monitor offers a non-expandable system that supports one door camera.
