Two-Way Radio Repeaters
If you have areas of you property that cannot receive mobile radio transmissions then a 2-way radio repeater can be used for extending the range radios will transmit and receive. They use different transmit and receive frequencies to any radio used must have the ability to set a different transmit and receive frequency for each channel.
The repeater will need to be placed in between the spots where you have a challenge communicating. The repeater itself is not waterproof and will need to be housed in side a building or waterproof housing with a cable running outside for the antenna. It will also require access to power, which could be solar power. See our solar options here: solar panel kits
These repeaters use UHF licensed frequencies so they do require an FCC License to operate them.
