Description
The BA-1 Paging Adaptor enables you to use master stations of your Aiphone intercom system to page external speakers. You simply connect a BA-1 to a channel of your master, and whenever you select that channel, you will broadcast to all the paging speakers on that channel. If you want multiple zones, you will need multiple BA-1 units and you will need to dedicate a button on the master for that zone.
The BA-1 does not provide amplification so it must be used with a paging amplifier that has the appropriate amplification for the number of speakers you are trying to drive.
There is no talkback, which means a person cannot respond through the paging system. However, they could go to an intercom station setup on another channel of the master and respond that way.
