Easily customize your base station settings with this PC programming kit.

While most users will not need this kit, it is required if you need to program a base station to match a specific frequency and privacy code that is not included in the callbox’s pre-programmed tables. If you prefer, we can program the unit for you before shipping.

Key Features & Compatibility:

• For Windows computers – Includes software and connection cable.
• Compatible with MURS and UHF commercial base station intercoms.
• Not required for most applications – MURS radios come pre-programmed with the five MURS frequencies and a default CTCSS privacy code (01). Most business band frequencies can be programmed without this kit.
• Most features can be adjusted from the base station’s built-in interface, but PC programming offers a faster and more efficient method.

Advanced Programming Capabilities (PC Only):

Certain features can only be adjusted via PC programming, including:

• Call Tone Duration: Adjustable from 0.5 to 8 seconds (default: 1.5 seconds).
• Constant Beep Volume: Can be set from levels 0-9 (default matches radio volume).
• TX Time Out: Limits continuous transmission time (factory set to 60 seconds, adjustable to 1-255 seconds).
• DQC Decode Polarity Invert: Allows inversion of DQC codes.
• Squelch Tightening: Fine-tune squelch settings per channel.
• Paging Decode: Assigns unique 2-Tone, DTMF, or Selcall codes to each channel.
• High/Low Power Settings: Adjusts transmit power per channel.
• TX Inhibit on Busy Channel: Prevents transmission when a signal is already present.
• Transmit Clear-to-Talk Beep: Confirms readiness to transmit when the PTT button is pressed.
• Paging Encode: Assigns a unique paging code to each channel, activated via the Z button.
• ANI on PTT: Sends an automatic identifier code when pressing the PTT button (if set for DTMF or Selcall Paging Encode).
• Custom Tone Programming: Fine-tune 2-Tone paging codes, All Call tones, and Group Call settings.

Important Note:

• If a base station is PC-programmed to a non-table frequency, it cannot be changed via field programming. The error code 999 will appear when attempting a readout.

This kit is a valuable tool for users who need precise customization beyond the default settings. However, for standard applications, factory programming should be sufficient.
