If you are installing a pad-mount pedestal pole on new concrete, then this kit is what you need to do it. The L-Bolt Kit is used to install 5/8" studs into new foundations. Generally installed with rebar, these are sturdy bolts to hold your pedestals down. They are installed by handing the bolts in place (see diagram below) and pouring new foundation. For added security, a rebar lattice or rebar cross bars are installed above the "L" bend to hold bolts in place.
