When drivers arrive at the scale, they simply pick up the handset on the outdoor phone, which automatically initiates a call to the inside station. The scale house operator can respond by either lifting the handset or using the hands-free speakerphone button for quick, convenient communication.

The system is designed for durability and ease of installation, using standard phone wires with RJ-11 connectors for plug-and-play functionality. The waterproof outdoor phone is equipped with gel-filled butt connectors to ensure secure, moisture-resistant wiring in harsh environments.
