Industrial Wireless or Wired Intercom System
Industrial Intercom SystemsAn industrial intercom is typically a durable intercom that is used in more harsh environments. We have a few solutions that may work for your needs.
If you need something that can be used outdoors then our wireless callboxes may work. Or if you need something that can be used in an indoor area where it may get wet, then these will work for that as well.
A wireless callbox is essentially a two-way radio circuitry inside a weatherproof, and vandal proof housing. We have a version that has a stainless steel front face and another that is made our of durable plastic in a water tight case. These units can communicate at distances of up to a mile in ideal conditions. They talk to either handheld radios or base station intercoms.
There is a relay available in certain versions of the callbox that can be activated remotely to open doors, activate gate openers, or turn on anything you want.
If you need something that will be used indoors but is very heavy duty, then the commercial base station will work. It is in a durable metal housing and can be wall mounted. You can attach various headset options or a speaker microphone to it.
Both of these options are available in VHF or UHF two-way radio frequencies so they can be used with existing 2 way radios you may already have. The MURS version of these products do not require an FCC license to operate.
There are wired options as well that may suit your needs. Watch the video below for more info on some of our solutions.
Wired Manufacturing Intercoms
The wireless intercoms are used in manufacturing environments as well, but if you need a wired manufacturing intercom that is heavy duty, loud, and has noise cancellation, we have the perfect intercom. We have different models of a VoIP intercom that can operate self-contained, meaning it does not need a VoIP telephone system. One of the stations uses it's built-in web server to operate a system with as many as 32 stations (or more with additional licensing). If you do want to use these intercoms with a VoIP telephone you can do that too since they are SIP compliant.
These intercoms have ample high-definition sound along with noise cancellation, handsfree operation, and automatic volume control. If your manufacturing intercom needs an extra-loud speaker, we can even add an external amplified horn speaker. We use these call boxes for truck scale intercoms, which is one of the most challenging applications there is. The callbox gets its power from a Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) switch so the intercom does not need a power outlet nearby. Since the system can operate on its own private network so it does not require Internet service.
