This 2-wire multi-tenant video intercom is the perfect solution for smaller-sized multi-tenant residences or businesses seeking enhanced security and communication capabilities with ease of installation. These ready to go kits are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 tenant packages that include the door station and all the tenant monitor stations. But this system isn't just about ease of installation – it boasts a sleek and modern design that seamlessly integrates into any architectural aesthetic. The Aluminum Surface-Mount Digital Video Door Panel features a 120° wide-angle color camera with white LEDs for low-light conditions, ensuring optimal visibility day or night.
But the benefits don't stop there. With a 12VDC door release output and N/O relay for other door release voltages and types, this system offers enhanced security and access control capabilities. Furthermore, optional voice messages are available in five languages assist visually-impaired individuals (see Related Items below), ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all residents.
System Operation:To initiate a call, the visitor simply presses the button corresponding to their desired apartment. An acoustic tone will promptly confirm that the call is in progress and the LED indicator will simultaneously illuminate. If the optional vocal synthesis feature is activated, a voice prompt stating "call is in progress" will further confirm the initiation of the call.
At this moment the apartment´s monitor receives the call. During the call the visitor can correct his or her call by pressing a push button corresponding to a different apartment, in which case the original call is cancelled.
In systems with several access doors, the other door panels will be automatically disconnected: if a visitor tries to call from other door panel an acoustic tone will be heard and the LED will turn on. If the vocal synthesis is enabled the message “system is busy, try later” will be heard confirming the system is busy.
The call lasts for 40 seconds. Without alerting the visitor, their image is displayed on master monitor to receive the call. If the call is not answered within 40 seconds, the LED will turn off and the system will be freed.
To establish communication, press the push button of the monitor. The door panel LED will turn on. If the vocal synthesis is enabled the message “you can speak now” will be heard confirming the communication is activated.
Communication will last for 90 seconds or until the button is pressed again. Once the communication has finished, the LEDs and will turn off and the system will be freed. If the vocal synthesis is enabled, the message “communication is finished” will be heard in the door panel confirming the communication has finished.
To open the door, press the door release push button during call or communication progresses: with one press, the door release operates for 5 seconds, the led will also turn on for 5 seconds. If the vocal synthesis is enabled, the message “door is open” will be heard in the door panel.
Just add an electric door strike (and associated power supply) and 2-conductor wire, to complete your building security system. In addition to 12 volts DC, other voltage door strikes and mag locks can be used with this system, with the addition of the PK407A auxiliary relay unit and additional door strike power supply (see Related Items).
