Designed for High-Noise Environments 

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and digital signal processing (DSP) provide enhanced voice quality and reduce audio distractions when using the ZT1062 Noise-Cancelling Base Station even when large pieces of equipment and engines are running at full capacity. Operators can hold full-duplex conversations (hear and speak at the same time without holding a button) with the ZT1062 to increase process efficiency and improve productivity, while reducing miscommunication.

Performance like this is especially critical on truck scales where operators must be able to clearly hear drivers even when multiple vehicles are idling nearby and drivers need to hear operator instructions loud and clear without distortion or interference.

In environments where hearing protection is required or where ambient sound levels exceed the norm, the ZT1062 has options to receive audio louder and further. The ZT1062 has an optional 10-watt amplified horn speaker for use in extreme noise environments. Additionally, the ZT1062 speaker output jack can be used to interface with an external amplifier.

Versatile Connectivity and System Compatibility 

The ZT1062 is compatible with many different communication systems and configurations. It can pair with noise cancelling outdoor stations such as the ZT1032 or another ZT1062 unit installed in other high-noise areas, or it can pair directly to SIP/IP phone systems in lower-noise areas of the facility, making it ideal for mixed environments.

ZT1062 is a fully digital, PoE-powered intercom that is easy to integrate into your network. It is compatible with third party SIP/VoIP systems or it can run independently as a server using its own private network. Expansion is available with ZT1062 supporting up to four 8-button expansion modules for facilities that need additional capabilities.

Operational Design 

The ZT1062 has a reversible aluminum console enclosure that can be wall-mounted or installed on a desktop. It is supplied with a gooseneck microphone to position the mic directly in front of the operator for more precise audio pickup. The separate gooseneck microphone helps to increase clarity and also provides mounting flexibility.

The ZT1062 has 3 programmable call buttons with dual status LED’s for each button, an oversized dedicated Talk button for use in either hands-free or push-to-talk mode, LED’s to indicate activity (ringing/connected), power and fault conditions, and dust protected buttons to increase the life of the unit when deployed in dusty or contaminated environments.
