Voice Evacuation Systems: Your Comprehensive Solution for Emergency Communication
A voice evacuation system fills a growing need caused by the changing nature of emergencies. When an emergency occurs having a signaling method to make building occupants aware is crucial. Usually that signaling is in the form of a siren, but there are so many types of emergencies a simple siren may not be sufficient.
Obviously, an active shooter emergency is very different than a tornado. So sounding a siren or alarm is not going to tell people what they need to do. That's where a voice evac system solves the problem. This system works in office buildings, warehouses, factories. outdoor area, industrial and commercial facilities, or anywhere people congregate.

An emergency voice evacuation system lets you transmit live or recorded verbal messages out over a wired or wireless PA system. So you aren't just giving people an irritating noise, you're giving them instruction they understand.
We have multiple ways to send out the verbal message. The first is live messages via a base station 2-way radio or handheld radio. The base station remains fixed in one location on a desktop or wall so it's always there and ready to go. The handheld can be used while wandering around so the security team can give live, up-to-date messages.
The second way to broadcast messages is via a wireless device that stores recorded messages. Our Voice Notification Wireless Transmitters can store recorded tones or voice messages of up to 24 seconds if only one message is used. The message can be repeated 1-9 times per transmission (no delay between repeats per transmission) and can repeat the transmission 1-15 times or unlimited until the switch condition changes back, with a delay between transmissions of 30 sec or 1/2/5/10/30/60/120 minutes. The transmitter can have up to four buttons on it so you can split that 24 seconds up into separate message for different events, each being activated by a different button.
If you already have a wired public address system in place, then our Wireless PA Interface can connect to your PA amplifier and then receive broadcasts from all the above described radio devices. Whatever is received is sent out over your PA system.
If you don't have a wired PA system in place, or want to run expensive wiring throughout the building, then our Wireless PA System fits your needs. You can literally save tens of thousands of dollars in the cost of running wire by using these units. And you can combine the Wireless PA Interface and the Wireless PA system together if you have a partial wired PA system in place.
We worked with the BASF, The Chemical Company where they got a quote of $70,000 to install a voice evac system in one of their large plants. Installing this wired system would have required running thousands of feet of wire and the labor cost alone was over $40,000. They instead purchased a system from us for less than $12,000 and installed the system themselves in a day so installation cost was also greatly reduced. The result was over $50K in savings.
Ricky Roach of BASF had this to say about working with us: "Great company and great products, I installed the Wireless Intercoms at 5 BASF plants and never had a problem and that was 6 years ago. You won't find a better or cheaper solution for intercom or emergency evacuation system. Easy to install, no maintenance, it's the best, for about a 1/10th of the cost of other systems, because it's wireless."
The equipment above is available in licensed 2-way radio UHF frequencies, or in unlicensed MURS frequencies.
