Phone Number Database: Simplified Tenant Call Management
The Phone Number Database feature allows you to easily manage tenant names, speed dial codes, and primary and backup phone numbers with just a click. Tenant information is securely stored on your admin PC and never uploaded to external systems, ensuring data privacy.
How it Works:
- Speed Dial Codes: Assign 1- to 3-digit speed dial numbers for each tenant. Visitors simply enter this number on the VK1038's keypad to call the tenant.
- Automated Call Routing: Once the speed dial code is entered, the system automatically dials the tenant’s primary phone number. If no one answers or the line is busy, it will immediately switch to a backup (rollover) number for seamless communication.
- Call Button Autodial: When the “CALL” button is pressed without entering a speed dial code, the system dials the primary number stored in Index 0. If there’s no response, it will attempt the rollover number. In multi-tenant applications this could be used to call a building manager or concierge. In single-occupant situations it is used to call the resident.
Note: VK1038 is shipped without pre-programmed phone numbers, giving you full control over setup.
