This amplified horn speaker is designed for use with the Commercial Base Station Intercom, providing loud and clear audio in noisy environments.
Installation & Connectivity
To connect this speaker to your system:
- Audio Connection: Solder 22-gauge speaker wire to the included 3.5mm plug, then connect the other end to the horn speaker. Alternatively, you can repurpose a standard headphone cable by cutting off the plug and attaching its wires to the speaker.
- Power Supply: Use speaker wire to connect the included 12V power supply to the horn speaker.
Outdoor Use
The weatherproof exterior makes this speaker suitable for outdoor applications, though the Commercial Intercom itself is not weatherproof.
Operation
While you will still speak through the base station microphone, all received audio will be played through the horn speaker for enhanced volume and clarity.
