Description

This kit is used for mounting a speaker microphone and an RT1146 2 way radio to a fixed location. It enables mounting the RT1146 charging cradle to a countertop so the radio can be used without picking it up. A user simply removes the speaker microphone from the cradle to carry on a conversation. The charger mounting plate ensures the radio and charging base do not slide across the counter when the speaker mic is picked up. Both the mounting plate and the speaker microphone cable mount using extra strong double sided tape.

This setup works well anywhere a fixed base station would be better, but you need the multi-channel capability of the RT1146. It could be used for zone paging with a wireless PA system, or for individually calling wireless callboxes for applications like gas station pumps.
