In most cases, this programming kit is not required. Many features can be configured directly through the built-in interface on the callbox or PA system. However, programming via PC software is significantly more efficient and allows for customization beyond the pre-set frequency and privacy code tables.
This programming kit is essential if you need to:
- Program a callbox to operate on a custom frequency or privacy code not included in the built-in tables.
- Configure advanced settings, such as custom 2-tone signaling, All Call, or Group Call codes (required for Ritron Loudmouth® systems).
- Independently adjust the voice and pre-announce tone volume levels on compatible wireless PA systems.
Included in the PC Programming Kit:
- Software CD
- Radio-to-PC programming cable
- 5-pin USB to Mini-USB cable
Compatibility:
- Designed for Windows computers.
Additional Notes:
- Most Wireless PA systems can be field-programmed in three simple steps, including frequency and tone code entry. However, custom frequency configurations require the PC programmer.
- Speaker volume levels can be manually set between 5–99%, but the PC programmer is necessary for independent control of voice and pre-announce tone volumes.
- If zone paging is not required, all Loudmouth® receivers can be programmed to the same paging code.
For installations requiring custom programming beyond standard field settings, this PC programming kit provides the necessary tools for precise and efficient configuration.
Table Frequencies:
The frequencies in the following table can be field programmed without the programming kit:
